Things I've been doing lately that have refreshed my mind

Wholesome in wholesome out. Protecting my mind has proven to be really great for my general well being. When my thoughts are clean, lovely and all things laadida~ I find that I am just a happy thriving cookie. Here are a few things I've been doing that have contributed in no small amount to that.


Reading clean reads - I'm a period read enthusiast! Give me a period read with great time-honoring English and characters (turns out the English type thoroughly adds to my enjoyment hahaha) and I will sit in a quiet corner for hours (except for when I'm interacting audibly and animatedly with the author and characters as if they can hear me ahahaha!!! ...I clearly get into the story). Lately I've been reading clean books and it has upped my enjoyment and general wellness a hundred fold!! By clean books I mean no foul language and no sexual content, and I have to tell you reading has never been this lovely!! Never. I leave every reading session with a smile on my lips and no filth in my mind. Like just wow!! Where have you been all my reading life beautiful niche genre?? So grateful for the book industry doing this. You have a very happy customer in me. And so like all the good and darling things I always recommend to you on this blog, I thoroughly recommend giving it a try. Listening to lighthearted podcasts - life can be heavy my love. So it's good to feed your mind with light happy things. Lately I've started listening to podcasts while showering and I must say it is life changing stuff. Just thoroughly refreshes you. I literally leave the shower with a clean body and a bonus happy mind! ahahahaha It's a 2 for 1! hahahahaha just lovely.


Spending time with God - hunnnnnay! Now this is the cream of this crop. I tell you no lie. In fact all these darling list of ideas on today's post are a fruit of that time spent with him. He guided me to these things. So that in of itself should be an indicator of how thoroughly good for you spending time with God can be. Nothing like it I assure you. Absolutely nothing.


Returning back to light exercise - emphasis on the light my love. Gotta start humble in these long ignored streets. Cause chiiild they've been Ignored with a capital I for quite some time. I'm not out here trying to break things or live sore for two weeks straight hahahaha. So though it has been a slow start, I am happy to report it is just what the heart and mind ordered. A little movement and voila I was feeling lighter in the mind and altogether happier. You should absolutely give it a try.
