I love a good read. Just makes my heart sing tucking down and going into a world other than my own.
I personally prefer a wholesome clean fictional read because while I enjoy going on fictional adventures, I'm also all about promoting a happy settled mind. So my reads are sexual content and profanity free.
If you want to see how fun that can be without any R rated stuff then please check out my recommendations below. All these books can be read via hard copy or on any of your electronic devices (mobile, tablet, laptop etc.) via the free Kindle app!!š Just darling!
Let's dive in!
A Fall from Grace by Jennie Goutet. First of all this was a two perspective read... the best way I find to enjoy a romance read. Because you get to see what both protagonists are thinking as their love blooms. Isn't that what makes it worth the trip? For me personally, that's where it's usually at. And I am happy to report it was thoroughly worth the plunge.
Our main lead was particularly endearing because he was a well hidden softie in hard exterior clothing. It was a treat and then some to watch him fight himself to shed off his comfortable hard exterior in order to get our leading lady. Their love story was lovely to read for me personally because it showed the lengths one would go to in order to secure what was most precious to him. Clearly it was the leading man for me in this one. It is for his journey and the beautiful way Jennie Goutet (the author) expresses herself in old easy to digest British English that I would highly recommend reading this! So thoroughly pleased with my decision to. Tap here to check it out
The Last Eligible Bachelor by Ashtyn Newbold. The sweetest little read set in the English countryside. Though it's a one perspective read it is so beautifully written that you find it is not a deal breaker. The female lead is an endearing little darling. I cheered for her through her whole journey. A precious warm read that you will probably want to read more than once. Tap here to check it out
Wager for a Lady's Hand by Laura Rollins. The seemingly impossible problem to solve caused by an antagonizing unrelenting villain, the sweet endearing love story, the pacing, the familial love between the siblings, and all wrapped in easy to digest English fitting for the time period (in my humble opinion) - was all a lovely mix that put together made for a really good read. I almost did not want it to end. I absolutely enjoyed Marianne and Sheldon's story. It was a darling little treat. It also has a good balance of both the leads' perspectives throughout the novel. LOVED that! Tap here to check it out
