7 crazy effective tips that help relieve anger

To keep rising to meet life, you need a positive attitude. Anger however is the enemy of that. It is where positivity gets chocked away and dies. It eats away at the heart and robs you of the joy you need to face a demanding and sometimes harsh world.
So what can we do to fight the anger that sometimes rises up in us as a result of the inevitable circumstances that we encounter in life from time to time?
Here's some effective ways that have worked wonders in my own life and that I still use today.
Dance - I don’t care if you have two left feet or four left limbs! dancing is for everyone and their mama! I’m an African girl so the need to dance comes as naturally to me as breathing.
Honey my ligaments just start going by themselves! haha Especially if I throw on some African tunes? ...hei! Move the furniture! hahahaha
But maybe that's one of the reasons why they say Africans are always a cheery people?
So join along and throw yourself a small concert in your house and go crazy! Find that speaker, pump up the music, and go innnnn. hahaha
Once you start doing the wave and trying out those popular tiktok dance moves in your bedroom you'll unconsciously find yourself laughing at and to yourself and having an amazing time. And as you do, the horrible mood you were in will find no way to hold on to you! And hey, maybe you’ll discover a new talent for dancing and it’s your tiktok dance moves we’ll be trying to replicate when we feel down later! hahahaha!! Exercise - getting in a small work out has a way of just making you feel better! And I’m not talking just about the very welcome endorphin juices that flow through your body because you are moving, but also the sense of accomplishment you alwaysss!!!! get after doing a work out. That stuff can lift your mood all the way to the sky! Love it. Eat – I’m not talking stress eating here my love. No no. Not at all. Go to your fridge and warm yourself up that meal you had cooked a few nights ago that was fire. If it was too fire though and so it doesn’t exist in this world anymore (hahahahaha - I feel you!), order something in, or whip up a quick scrambled egg with garlic and some avocado toast - whatever floats your taste bud boat my darling, and enjoy! Let me tell you the satisfaction you get from this will be two fold! Your stomach will be happy, and your brain will reward you with some happy endorphin hormones as a bonus! You win and then you win some more.
Pray - talking to God has a way of just cheering me up. Even if I’m angry at Him. Bruhh you know what I mean. And bonus info... God has been teaching me through various ways that it’s okay to be angry at Him. The crucial thing to know though is the how to go about it. He has taught me that when angry at Him, treat Him how you would treat someone you love when you are angry at them. Don’t hurl insults and expletives at Him (if you do this with someone you love hun then you need to re-asses that too 💚)... but go and express it to Him in love. Let me tell you my dear, pouring it out always just feels so much better. After you have done that, ask Him to heal the hurt. I promise you He will show up in one way or another and make it better. He always does. And I tell you that from my own experience.
Cry - have a good crying session. As we have said up there, releasing emotion about what has upset you has a way of making the load lighter on you. Added tip, I personally usually find it soothes me most when I combine crying and praying. You can do either separately or both at the same time.
Take a shower - for even more maximum effect how about bringing your playlist with you? When I listen to music in the shower, 99.99% of the time I will find myself belting out those tunes! ---Just make sure it’s happy tunes. Tunes that bring back good memories for you. I belt out those tunes like I’m at a recording studio! hahahaha So much fun! And that fun along with the refreshing of the shower has a way of making things much much easier in terms of your mood. Tried and tested.
Watch happy tv – PSA please don’t put on angry tv when you are angry. Ever heard of gaslighting? You will be ignited into a fit of rage so bad you will not remember that you have any good sense. Trust me, I’ve been there. Instead, find something that makes you laugh. I’m sure on your Netflix “My list” you have something there. My personal go-to is usually a hilarious kdrama or anime. They just know how to tickle me to pieces out over there in Korea and Japan. hehe love them. In case you want to give them a try, here's a list of my favorites.
